This category contains data on genome-wide ancestry proportion estimates.Global ancestry proportions were estimated using the ADMIXTURE software (v1.3.0) applied to genome-wide genotype data from the Illumina Global Screening Array v2. Reference populations from the 1000 Genomes Project and Human Genome Diversity Project were used to infer four major continental ancestry components (African, East Asian, European and Indigenous American), and ancestry proportions for MCPS participants were estimated by projection onto the resulting admixture model.
