Description

During the clinic (or home) visit at age 60-64 years study participants were asked by the attending nurse whether they would be willing to have their grip strength assessed. If willing and able (reasons for inability included health reasons and broken dynamometers) up to 6 tests of grip strength were performed, 3 in the dominant hand and 3 in the non-dominant hand, using a Nottingham electronic dynamometer.
